And The Ecumenical Movement Keeps Rolling Along — 2 Comments

  1. I have to disagree about Judaism not worshiping the same Yhwh God as is depicted in the Bible; without Judaism, there is NO Christianity! Jesus was a Jew, as were His disciples; they lived OT Judaism; they taught from the Torah (not the Talmud). The Father to Whom Jesus Prayed is the same Father to Whom Moses and the prophets also prayed. But they prayed to Jesus too; indeed the places where the name Jehovah (Yhwh in the Hebrew) appear ARE pre-Incarnate Jesus! They were “blinded” to the prophecies Jesus fulfilled in His first coming, intentionally, by God, so that we, the Gentiles, could be brought into the fold. Had the Jews accepted Jesus as their Messiah, when He lived among them; we would be out of luck! I have a lovely friend who is a rabbi in my area; we talk about the Judaic roots to Christianity often. They’re still looking for the Conquering King; the Lion of Judah, as they have been all along, because they were intentionally diverted from the Sacrificial Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world. But it doesn’t mean they worship Satan.
Islam, on the other hand, is a very different matter. Even the Quranic descriptions of the deity known as Allah clearly show, he CANNOT possibly be the same deity as Yhwh God of the Bible, nor the Father, because the very character as described in the Quran is a polar opposite to the Biblical character of God! Rather, it fits perfectly the Biblical descriptions of Lucifer/Satan. The claim that it’s the same deity is a lie designed to deceive those too lazy or inept to seek and find the truth, and lead them into the “globalist” 1 world religion.

    • Sandra, if Israel really worshipped the God of the Bible, then there is no way the symbol you see in the article would have been allowed, as the Jewish leaders in Munich would have been in an uproar over this advertisement. If you know anything about advertisement, then you know that advertisements of a religious nature are always run by the authorities of that religion (as well as the legal department) to ensure that they contain nothing of an inflammatory, defamatory, or blasphemous nature. In a city like Munich, which played such a central role in the Holocaust, it is a safe bet that this advertisement would not have been posted unless the Jewish authorities allowed it. If this is true, then it could only mean one of three things:

      1. Jews do not consider the so-called Star of David a symbol of Judaism, and are therefore not bothered by the implication that Judaism, Roman Catholicism, and Islam all worship “The One God.”

      2. Jews don’t consider the crescent moon a symbol for Islam or the cross a symbol for Roman Catholicism and are therefore not bothered by the implication that Judaism, Roman Catholicism, and Islam all worship “The One God.”

      3. Jews no longer worship Yahweh, but “The One God” that Roman Catholics and Muslims both worship, and therefore have no problem with that worship being depicted symbolically as is shown in the advertisement.

      4. I know absolutely nothing about Judaism, Roman Catholicism, Islam, or the Bible.

I submit that #3 is the case, as it is backed up by the Bible, which says:

“But their [Israel’s] minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail [of blindness] untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

“But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart” (2 Corinthians 3:14,15).

You confirm this yourself, as you say that the Jews are still waiting for the Lion of Judah. The problem, however, is that Jesus says He is the Lion of Judah; and the Jews rejected Jesus with their lips then, and, if the Apostle Paul can be believed, reject Him in their hearts now by rejecting the New Testament. The symbol in the advertisement would seem to support this.

I never said that the Jews worship Satan; you did. But, now that you mention it, Jesus did say that he who is not with Him is against Him.
