Mother’s Day Woes — 4 Comments

  1. Hi, I enjoy your letters.
Just wondering what you meant by
‘don’t give a witch power over you’ ?????
If we are in covenant with the Lord,
    doesn’t the Bible say
” …an undeserved curse shall not come to rest…?

    • Hi, Carolyn. I’m glad you enjoy the letters.

The Bible says, “the curse causeless shall not come” (Proverbs 26:2). The operative word here is causeless. If God curses a person, then it is be-cause the person did something to deserve it. Most of the sins the world takes for granted are sins that could earn you a generational curse. If you are living in sin, then you can have a spell cast on you, according to former witch-turned-Christian, John Todd (now deceased). I’m not a witch, but if I understand correctly, a spell is essentially a command to a demon to perform a particular act, such as harming a person. A demon has no power over a Christian who eschews sin and walks in faith, but a witch does have power over a Christian who is living in sin. When we sin, therefore, we give witches power over us. We make it possible for them to ruin our day.

      I pray this helps.
