God Hears You!

Grace and peace to the hands and feet of the Lord, and greetings to those who have yet to become the body of Christ (but I’m prayin’ for ya!)

I get several prayer requests a month, and, believe me, I pray for each and every one of you who has asked me to pray for you (probably a lot more than you thought). But rarely does anyone let me know if or how Jesus has answered his or her prayers. Now, if Jesus has not answered your prayer yet, don’t get discouraged. Jesus answers our prayers if and when He chooses, and quite often, we do not receive an answer to our prayers as quickly or in the manner we would have liked. But there is one thing you can be sure of: if we asked, He heard.

Now, if we are not saved, then Jesus is not under any obligation to answer our prayers. If we are saved, however, He is, because Jesus is a Man of His Word, and He has promised to answer our prayers if we:

“ask anything in His name” (John 14:14),
“ask anything according to His will” (1 John 5:14),
“obey His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight” (1 John 3:22), and
do not “regard iniquity in our hearts” (Ps. 66:18).

I can assure you that all of the above apply to me.

Now, does that mean that I don’t sin? Of course not. We all sin. Even the great Apostle Paul sinned. But God examines the reins of the heart, and He knows that my will is to do His will. So, when I do sin, I confess it as soon as possible, and I do everything in my power to avoid sin. And those sins that God hates: that is, those sins that can be found in Leviticus 18 and 19 and Exodus 18, I just don’t do. That means, of course, that life for me is a struggle, as it is for all of us who desperately want to please the Lord Jesus. But it is a struggle that is well worth it, especially when you are praying for people.

I remember when I was a young unsaved heathen of a man. There was this beautiful Christian woman, whom I was trying desperately to seduce. But she wasn’t having any of it. She would always tell me that though she liked me a lot, she could not get involved with me, because she “had too many people to pray for.” At that time, I had no idea what she was talking about. But I do now.

When you are praying for people, you have to keep yourself together, as much for those for whom you are praying, as for yourself. As the Apostle Paul says, we have to keep our bodies under, and bring them under submission.

I said all that to say this: Not only do I receive your prayers, but I pray for you. And not only do I pray for you, but I pray for you with confidence. I know that God hears my prayers, because I do my level best to keep myself in a right relationship with Him. Ask Satan.

“I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside. It shall not cleave to me” (Psalm 101:3).

If you have asked me to pray for you, and God has answered your prayers, I would be very happy if you would let me know, so that I can give the glory to Him to Whom it belongs.

Climate Change and the Socialist Agenda

By now, most of us know that one purpose for the media is to divert our attention away from what is really important onto something less significant. You may recall, for example, that last fall, while the media were covering Eric Snowden and the whole NSA spying fiasco, Pope Francis, in a Vatican ceremony the media conveniently failed to mention, dedicated the world to the Virgin Mary.

Well, while the media have been covering the battle against ISIS, on September 23, 2014, the United Nations sponsored the 2014 Climate Summit in New York. Invited were heavy-hitters and chief muckety-mucks from government, industry, finance, and even entertainment (actor Leonardo DiCaprio was also invited to speak).

CNN covered the event, but not in great detail. So, I went to the Summit webpage at the United Nations website, to get more information. The website includes the full texts of the statements delivered by all the representatives of the various countries in attendance. I must tell you that I was very alarmed when I read them; for it was clear after I had read a few that Climate Change is not at all about climate change. Climate Change is about redistribution of wealth–socialism.

I will let the words of a few of the delegates speak for themselves, but before I do, I simply must begin with this statement by the President of the 69th Session of the U.N. General Assembly, H.E. Sam Kahama Kutesa:

“There is no longer scientific argument about the fact that the planet is heating up.”

One cannot help but notice that Mr. Kutesa doesn’t say that there is irrefutable scientific proof that the planet is heating up. He merely says that there is no longer scientific argument over the issue. This simply means that all scientific opposition against global warming has been silenced. In that the majority of the scientific community are not God-fearing people, and are, by all appearances, intolerant of the biblical worldview, then it is not difficult to imagine how this was accomplished.

We continue with the statements of some of the summit attendees. Please pay particular attention to the areas in boldface.

“We have the capacity to start and strengthen a true and beneficial process which will irrigate, as it were, through adaptation and mitigation activities, the field of economic and technological innovation where it is possible to cultivate two interconnected objectives: combating poverty and easing the effects of climate change.”

— Pietro Cardinal Parolin, Vatican City Secretary of State

“Combatting poverty,” or words to that effect, was a recurring theme in virtually all the statements I read. In fact, climate change actually took a back seat to the fight against poverty. As I read, I quickly realized that climate change is merely an excuse to institute laws and regulations the goal of which will be to socialize governments all over the world.

None of the statements I read made this clearer than that of President Evo Morales Ayma of Bolivia (a Socialist country). Pay close attention to what he says:

“The Earth and its ecosystems are our home and we are convinced that, in order to achieve a just balance among the economic, social and environmental needs of present and future generations, it is necessary to promote harmony with nature and the Earth.”

A “just balance” is merely code for redistribution of wealth: Socialism.

“We consider that mitigation of and adaptation to climate change are contingent upon different sociocultural contexts, taking particular account of indigenous peoples and local communities and their traditional knowledge systems and practices, including their holistic view of community and environment, as a major means of adapting to climate change.”

The indigenous people in just about every country in the world were agrarian societies who lived very close to the land and used primitive methods of farming and agriculture. They were also very superstitious and were into witchcraft and folk magic. What is being suggested here is the dumbing down of civilization, and the reduction of the average person into little more than an illiterate, superstitious serf. On an economic level, this probably entails the implementation of austerity measures, such as we have seen recently in Greece.

“Sustainable development involves a change in the order of priorities from the generation of material wealth to the satisfaction of human needs in harmony with nature. The excessive orientation towards profit neither respects Mother Earth nor takes into account human needs. The continuation of this unequal system will lead to further inequality.”

“Generation of material wealth” is code for capitalism, while “satisfaction of human needs” refers to the basic human needs of food, clothing, shelter, and security. “In harmony with nature” implies that capitalism goes against nature, and that man’s primary preoccupation should be merely with eating, sleeping, working, security, and sexual gratification.

Notice the term “order of priorities.” The word “order” is not needed here because it is not a reordering of priorities that is being suggested, but a shift in priorities. The “generation of material wealth” is to be replaced by the “satisfaction of human needs.” The word order is code for the New World Order: a socialist state that will supplant the current world order, which is based on capitalism.

Capitalism, by the way, originated in the United States, and was a direct product of the Protestant Reformation. That ought to give you a clue as to who is really pushing the climate change agenda.

This last statement by President Ayma brings it home:

“Climate Change is by its nature a phenomenon that deserves our special attention, dynamism, and dedication. Accordingly, it is for my government a privilege to be engaged in the negotiation of a new global climate agreement, since this process gives humanity the opportunity to build a fair climate regime, ensuring the reduction of disparities in the quality of life of all people, and to protect the climate system for present and future generations.”

Notice again that the issue of climate change has been completely subordinated to “building a fair [economic and social] climate” and “reducing [economic and social] disparities.” Socialism is the real goal of climate change.

This statement by President Ayma shows how expensive this “fair climate” agenda is going to get:

“There is an urgent need to have a clear commitment of Developed country Parties to provide at least USD70 billion per year by 2016 rising to USD100 billion per year by 2020 as “a floor for accounting,” and leading to further increased commitments on the provision of financial support for the post-2020 period.”

When you consider that the current U.S. deficit is over 17 trillion dollars, then you will understand why spending this much money to provide “a floor for accounting” is ludicrous. If I understand correctly, this money goes into a general fund, to be redistributed to the poorer countries. This statement by Angolan Vice President Manuel Domingos Vicente would seem to support this:

“In our country, we have in recent years witnessed the advance of desertification and drought…triggering an emergency program by the government. We believe that we need to be compensated with bilateral and multilateral funding to improve our outcomes and development projections.

“Protecting Tropical Forests…and financing programs that allow to compensate for the lack of funds to offset the efforts of African countries, as well as assessing the benefits of preserving ecosystems is vitally important.”

So over 70 billion dollars a year, from all the countries that are parties to the Kyoto Accords, will go over to poorer countries, such as those aforementioned in Africa, to “compensate” them for their efforts and fund their development programs. The American people, primarily the taxpayers, will never see a dime of that money, yet they are the ones footing the bill. And, as if 100 billion dollars a year weren’t bad enough, they are talking about increasing the amount after 2020!

I believe this program directly targets the United States of America, and is designed to bankrupt us completely and totally decimate whatever remains of the “middle class.” Socialist rhetoric may sound good on the surface: a fair, equitable solution to the world’s economic woes, a level playing field for all, the answer to crime, the elimination of poverty, the world’s wealth and resources no more concentrated in the hands of a select few. Everyone will be guaranteed a job, and there will be a chicken in every pot.

Sounds good doesn’t it? What they don’t tell you, however, is that Socialism will not level the playing field by bringing everyone up to the level of the developed nations, like the United States, but by bringing everyone down to the level of a third-world country, like Cuba and many in Africa. Socialism will enable one to survive, but not to thrive. And under Socialism there is never enough of anything.

Socialism is part of the Hegelian Dialectic. Capitalism is the thesis, and is seen as undesirable because it (supposedly) favors the rich at the expense of the poor. Communism is the antithesis, and is unfavorable for obvious reasons. Socialism is offered as the synthesis: the perfect melding of both systems. The greedy and ambitious are held in check (so they say) while the lazy, unproductive, and unmotivated are taken care of by the state whether they like it or not, whether they deserve to be or not.

But what is most unsettling about the whole climate change and “global warming” agenda is that it is a hoax. And not only is it a hoax, but it calls the God of the Bible a liar. In the book of Genesis, Chapter 8, after Noah and his family come out of the Ark, God makes them a very important promise:

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22).

Did you get that? God said that as long as there is a planet earth, there will always be four seasons: There will always be Spring, there will always be Summer, there will always be Fall, and there will always be Winter. Forever!

If the Bible is true, therefore, then Global Warming, or the belief that the planet will continue to heat up until the polar ice completely melts, the earth is scorched so badly that plants cannot grow and there is a global drought, the seas overrun with the water from the melted polar icecaps until there is flooding on an unprecedented scale, and all the rest of these projected catastrophes, are pure science fiction. It ain’t happening!

Now, if the world believed the Word of God, the Bible, then they couldn’t be taken for a ride by the snake-oil salesmen in the U.N. They would know that Global Warming is a sham and that those scientists that preach the climate change gospel are charlatans. But because most of the world has turned its back on God, He has given them up to a “reprobate mind” (Romans 1:28): to do (and believe) things that are not convenient. God is letting them follow the god of their choosing.

So, be on the lookout for what will happen in June 2015, when the next climate change summit convenes in Paris; for it is there that they mean to (formerly) pen a comprehensive global agreement that will institute the changes they plan to implement. In my mind, that at least means that austerity measures will be implemented on a global scale. And by the statements of some of the speakers at this year’s Summit, they plan to bring considerable pressure to bear upon the world’s governments to agree in advance. God help us when they do.

Ever notice that the sun doesn’t shine through the clouds? The most it can do is shine around the edges of the cloud, if you know what I mean. But it can’t–or at least doesn’t– shine through the clouds. This is strange when you consider that if you stand in the midst of a cloud (in the mountains early in the morning, when the clouds are hanging really low, or in an airplane 20,000 feet above the ground) what looks really thick from the ground is really nothing more than a fog or a wisp of smoke. Yet, the sun, the most powerful force (besides God) in the galaxy, cannot shine through a cloud.

Now, I bet that if you asked a meteorologist to explain this phenomena, he would give you a really scientific explanation. And it would sound good. But did you know that the real answer to this question is not scientific at all, but biblical? Listen to this:

“With clouds [God] covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt” (Job 36:32).

So, if I understand my Bible correctly, the sun doesn’t shine through the clouds because God has commanded it not to. And since Jesus Christ is God Almighty (Revelation 1:8), and since “without Him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:3), then it is Jesus who commands the light not to pass through the clouds. Wow.

We come up with laws to explain everything, when, in reality, Jesus makes it happen “by the word of His power” (Hebrews 1:3).

“What manner of Man is this that even the winds and the sea obey Him!” (Matthew 8:27).

Pop-Locking in Church?

If you had seen this image anywhere else, would you have believed that the scene it depicts had taken place in a church? Well, according to the Facebook post that accompanied the video from which I got this image, it did. And believe me when I tell you that the only thing that even remotely hinted that this event was church related was the occasional “Yes Lord” and “Hallelujah” shouted from the enthralled congregation.

The Still Man

404 Errors

Some of you no doubt have found that, since sometime last week, you got a 404 “Page Not Found” error when you clicked on a page link, typed the page URL into your browser, or tried to load a bookmarked page from this website. The reason for this is that I changed the permalink structure for how a page is archived and its URL displayed.

For example, the permalink structure for this post is http://www.gospellightandtruthcrusade.org/stillmanfiles/2014/08/page-errors, where 2014 is the year and 08 is for the month of August. This is the default WordPress setting, and is best used by newspapers or bloggers that publish multiple posts daily, as it makes it a lot easier to find a particular article.

For someone like me, however, who blogs sporadically, this type of structure is not the best way to go. In my case, the best alternative would be to merely use the blog post title. Using this structure, the permalink for this post would be http://www.gospellightandtruthcrusade.org/stillmanfiles/page-errors. As you can see, it is a lot cleaner and a lot more intuitive.

So, I changed the permalink structure, forgetting, however, that all links to blog pages as well as any bookmarked pages a reader would have would be looking for the year/month permalink structure, and, not finding it, return a 404 “Page Not Found” error. And this is exactly what happened.

I hadn’t noticed the results of my gaff until today, and I immediately fixed the problem by going back to the original year/month permalink format, as amateurish as it looks. Using the default permalink structure, by the way, is one of the top seven mistakes that beginning bloggers make. (It is also probably one of the top five mistakes that more experienced bloggers stop making.)

I have been blogging for three and a half years, but have yet to learn the finer points of blogging, being more concerned, as I am, with content. Little by little, however, I am learning a thing or two, even if I am lacking somewhat on the applications side of the house.

Ecumenism And Babylon 5

Last night, while washing the dishes, I was listening to (and partly watching) an episode of Babylon 5. Forgive me for not noting the episode name, number, or season, but judging from the fact that Michael O’Hare played Commander Sinclair, who was only commander for the first season (he was later replaced by Bruce Boxleitner), and the subject matter of the episode, it may very well have been the pilot episode, “The Gathering.” At the end of the episode, Commander Sinclair holds a meeting with a delegation representing all of earth’s religions.

I apologize to our readers for the video quality, but we have been having problems with reception lately. I also apologize for the fact that the video is in German. I will briefly summarize the verbal exchanges.

–First person: “Well, Mr. Garibaldi?”

–Second person: “Don’t be impatient. It’ll only last a couple of minutes.”

–Third person: “And what kind of demonstration can we expect?”

–Fourth person: “I have no idea, that’s what we were trying to guess. In any case, it has something to do with the main religions of the earth.”

–Fifth and sixth persons: (I could not make it out.)

–Seventh person: “Are you sure we’re in the right place?”

–Eighth person: “That’s it, I’m leaving.”

–Second person: “We’re supposed to wait right here for Commander Sinclair, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”

Commander Sinclair: “Everything’s prepared, please follow me.”

(Commander Sinclair introduces each member of the delegation, rendering the customary salute of their religion):

“This is Mr. Harris, he is an Atheist.

“Father Chrisanti [sp?], a Catholic (?).”

“Mr. Harikara, a Zen Buddhist.”

“Mr. Rashiyd, a Muslim.”

“Mr. Rosenthal, an Orthodox Jew.”

“(Name indiscernable), of the Sioux tribe.”

“Father Papapolous, a Greek monk.”

“Hogikiko, of the Ebo tribe”

“Makuriak, an Eskimo.”

“Savaba, of the Ebelo tribe.”

“(Name indiscernible), a Bhanto.”

“Mrs. Chung, a Taoist.”

“Mr. Blacksmith, an Aborigine.”

“Mrs. Yamamoto, a Shintoist.”

“Ms. Maigo, a Mao-be.”

“(Name indiscernible) a Hindu…”

Notice that there doesn’t appear to be a Christian in the delegation. One may think that Commander Sinclair himself may have been a Christian. However, because earlier in the program, he attends a religious ceremony wherein he participates in a “rebirth” ritual and even eats something of religious significance, then it is clear that he was not a Christian.

True Christians are reborn when we accept the Lord Jesus’s sacrifice and the shedding of His blood on Calvary as sufficient atonement for our sins. To participate in a religious ritual wherein the participant is said to be reborn, is to deny Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins. (Freemasons, by the way, who consider themselves Christians, should particularly reflect on this, since the ritual for the Master Mason’s degree involves a rebirth.)

Notice the beautiful score playing in the background? It is the type of music that elicits hope and optimism for the future. The New Age has always stated that the world would be a better place if it weren’t for the Christians and their dogmatic views and exclusivity. Some New Agers, like Benjamin Creme, have even gone so far as to say that if people (especially Christians) do not accept their New Age spiritual guru, Maitreya, they will simply be eradicated from the face of the earth. That was the message of Babylon 5.

I found it interesting that the commander’s first mate, Michael Garibaldi, who also participated in the ritual, would not eat the food that was offered to him. Garibaldi even claimed that he did not believe in God in episode 15 of Season 5 of the series. Click here to read Garibaldi’s quote). It now makes perfect sense that the first representative of the religious delegation was an atheist.

You must understand that while the goal of ecumenism may seem merely to get all religions to “go along to get along,” it is much more than that. The end game of ecumenism is to absorb and ultimately eliminate Christianity altogether, by encouraging Christians to relinquish their mandate to sanctify themselves and join all the other religions at the table of fellowship.

Did you know that seven of the cast members of Babylon 5 have died, some under mysterious circumstances? Counting guest appearances, the number is said to be as high as twenty-four. Coincidence?

Last year we wrote an article revealing the Roman Catholic Virgin Mary to be none other than Semiramis, the wife of the great rebel, Nimrod. For thousands of years, Semiramis has been worshipped all over the world under many different names, including Diana, Minerva, Ashtoreth, Isis, Shing Moo, Parvati, and Melitta or Melissa. The Roman Catholics worship Semiramis as Mary, which is from the Latin word mari or mare, which means “sea.” The Virgin Mary is referred to as “The Star of the Sea.”

In response to the article, entitled “The Virgin Mary: The Star of the Sea,” a Roman Catholic lady wrote me a very enlightening letter attempting to bring me to “a more perfect understanding of the Virgin Mary.” However, the qualities and significance which she attributed to the Virgin Mary were so un-biblical, that it was clear to me that we were talking about two different Marys.

We therefore wrote “Two Marys,” addressing her more salient points, and proving that the Virgin Mary cannot be Mary, the mother of the Lord Jesus. The first in a two part series on that article is now (or will be in a few hours) available at the iTunes Store.

If you are a Roman Catholic, you may be interested to know what the Bible says about Mary, the mother of Jesus, opposed to what you have been taught or have come to believe about the Virgin Mary. It will become quickly clear to any thinking person that the Virgin Mary cannot be the mother of Jesus, our Savior. Christians may be interested to find that what Roman Catholics actually believe about the Virgin Mary is light years away from what the Bible teaches about Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.

We must understand that the Lord Jesus condemns the worship of idols (Exodus 20:3-5). And the Roman Catholic Virgin Mary is an idol. Make no mistake about that.

What Is A Testimony, and Why Do I Need One? Part 3

Grace and peace to the heirs of promise.

We continue with the reasons many Christians lack a testimony.

WHY MANY CHRISTIANS DON’T HAVE A TESTIMONY

1. SIN

This is the primary reason. The Bible says,

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” (Psalm 66:18).

If we are living in sin, then God will not hear our prayers. And if God will not hear our prayers, then God will not answer our prayers. If God will not answer our prayers, then we cannot receive help from Him and cannot therefore testify that God is “an ever-present Help in time of trouble.”

A good example of this is King Saul. When King Saul sinned and rebelled against God, God withdrew from him and would no longer answer his prayers. When we sin unrepentantly, God will also withdraw from us.

-With regard to our testimony of persecution, again, God allows us to pass through trials and tribulations because our life is a picture of Jesus’ life. As Jesus suffered persecution, so we must also suffer persecution. However, in that Paul said that because of persecution, we will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, then it stands to reason that if we are not suffering persecution, it is because we are not counted worthy of the kingdom of God. It means we are not walking worthy of the cross of Christ.

If we are not counted worthy to suffer on the Lord’s behalf, then we will not have a testimony of overcoming trials for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

2. GENERATIONAL CURSE

Many Christians don’t have a testimony because they are in bondage to sin through a generational curse. A generational curse is a curse that God places on a person’s descendants when that person is guilty of committing a sin that is so offensive to God, that He considers it an abomination. An abomination is something that God really hates. The Bible teaches that all unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17). However, there are hierarchies of sin. At the low end are sins that God just winks at. At the high end is the unpardonable sin. And, in the middle, are abominations, sins that God absolutely hates. Only the unpardonable sin will not be forgiven. All other sins will be forgiven. HOWEVER…Abominations, in that God specifically hates these sins, must be confessed outright by name, in order to receive forgiveness for them.

It is important to understand that God hates abominable sins so much that before Jesus paid the blood at Calvary, God destroyed those who were guilty of those sins. God wiped the Canaanites off the face of the earth because of the sins that they were guilty of (Deuteronomy 18), which sins included witchcraft, child sacrifice, and pornography. God obliterated Sodom and Gomorrah and also all the cities of the plain (except Zoar) because they practiced the sin of homosexuality.

Under the Old Testament law, people who were accused of committing abominations were stoned. But since Jesus paid the blood, we are now living in a period of mercy. God no longer automatically destroys those guilty of committing abominations. But, because God said that He would “by no means clear the guilty,” those who are cursed with the sins of their forefathers will be punished in this life.

1 Timothy 5:24 says this:

“Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment, and some men they follow after.”

This means that, though God will no longer destroy those who are guilty of abominations, they have already been judged and been found guilty. Therefore they will be punished in this life, rather than only at the Judgment. Generational sins fall into this category. This is the reason why those who are under a generational curse have such terrible problems. These sins are particular grievous to God. Therefore, unlike other sins, which are forgiven when one accepts the Lord Jesus as his Savior, generational sin–abominable sins–must be confessed outright. Some sins that fall into this category are idolatry (which is the number one sin), homosexuality, witchcraft, and pornography.

Because abominations are sins that are particularly loathsome to God, and, therefore, must be confessed outright by name, a person can be saved and still be under a generational curse. It is important to understand that salvation and deliverance are not the same thing. Salvation is deliverance from original and personal sin (Romans 5:12, Romans 3:25), while deliverance means being set free from a generational curse (1 John 1:9). Many believe that when they got saved, all their sins were forgiven, and thus, a generational curse should have no affect on them. They fail to realize that, because of the seriousness of generational sin, it must be confessed outright in order for a person to be delivered.

A Christian living under a generational curse will eventually have his testimony destroyed by Satan, if he does not confess the sin that brought about the curse to the Lord Jesus and have it forgiven. A person will know what sins he needs to confess, because the Word of God teaches that those under a generational curse will be cursed with the sins of their forefathers.

3. THANKLESSNESS

Because many Christians are living in sin, they aren’t experiencing the victory over sin and temptation that they should. This has caused them to be unthankful, because the more the Lord Jesus delivers you from something, the more grateful you will be. Conversely, if Jesus hasn’t done anything in your life (because you haven’t asked Him to), you will not be very grateful to Him. Lack of gratitude is the manifestation of 2 Timothy 3:2, wherein the Apostle Paul says that men in the last days would be “unthankful.”

4. UNEQUALLY YOKED

The Bible says,

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers” (2 Corinthians 14:6).

In today’s feel-good climate of “oneness” and world harmony, Christians have been swept up in a “cumbaya” moment. The Roman Catholic Charismatic Movement has thoroughly infiltrated the Protestant church and essentially reduced it to little more than one of the many orders of the Roman Catholic church. Protestant churches are becoming more Catholic with each passing day, as many pastors wear the collar of a Roman Catholic priest and many churches celebrate Roman Catholic holidays such as Lent.

God hates idolatry, and the Roman Catholic church is an idolatrous institution. Christians, therefore, who align themselves with Rome, become the enemies of God (James 4:4). And an enemy of God has no testimony.

There are also many Christians who are members of secret societies such as the Freemasons. Freemasonry and Christianity are irreconcilable, as the God of Freemasonry is, in fact, the great Rebel, Nimrod, and the the patron saint of Freemasonry is a demon called Baphomet—a pagan deity. A person, who has taken any of the many blood oaths Freemasons are required to take, has yoked himself to Baphomet, and has brought not only aa world of spiritual darkness upon himself and his family, but also a generational curse upon his descendants.

5. WORDLINESS

Though we live in the world, we are not of the world, and cannot, therefore, do as the world does. We can’t talk as the world talks, we can’t dress as the world dresses, and we can’t behave as the world behaves. God has called us to sanctification. We must, therefore, separate ourselves from the world. Unfortunately, most pastors no longer preach sanctification, and many in the Christian community see separation from the world as divisive and exclusive.

If we ally ourselves with the world with all it’s fleshy lusts and desires, the Holy Spirit will depart from us. When we lose the Holy Spirit we lose not only the ability to discern good and evil, but we also lose the ability to reason. With the loss of reason we become easily prone to the deceptiveness of sin. One who is living in sin is living in defeat, and one who is living in defeat has no testimony. This truth is not restricted to lay Christians, as many, if not most, pastors are also living in the world. Consequently, whole churches have been compromised and have become unfruitful and altogether useless to God.

6. IGNORANCE OF THE WORD OF GOD AND OF GOD’S PROMISES

Many Christians don’t have a testimony because they don’t know the Word of God. God has made many promises to the body of Christ and, because God is faithful, he will always delivers on His promises:

“All the promises of God in Him (Jesus) are yea, and in Him, Amen, to the glory of God by us” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

The Christian who doesn’t know the Bible, however, will not know God’s promises, and will be consequently unaware when God delivers on those promises. He will therefore, be unable to testify that God is “faithful and true” (Revelation 3:14). A major purpose of the Christian’s testimony is to confirm this truth.

WHY YOU NEED A TESTIMONY

The Bible declares that the testimony of two or three witnesses will establish the truth. Jesus Christ testified that He is The Truth (John 14:6). Chapter 17 of the Gospel of John says that the Holy Ghost testifies to the truth. The Christian is called to be that third witness to the truth: that Jesus Christ:

“Was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Timothy 3:16).

As Christians, we are useless without a testimony. As Jesus used parables to communicate the Gospel to simple people in a language they could understand, so our testimony communicates the Good News of the Gospel to people in a language they can understand.

Many are hurting in these days of apostasy. People need real, tangible examples that God is Sovereign and can reach out and touch people’s lives in a real and tangible way. The body of Christ desperately needs the strength, encouragement, and hope that a good testimony gives.

HOW YOU CAN GET A TESTIMONY (or get it back)

Everyone who has been washed by the blood of Jesus has at least a conversion testimony. In that the Bible says that everyone who is born again in Christ Jesus is a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17), a person without a testimony of change in his life probably isn’t saved. Someone in this situation needs to first hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and, if he chooses, to make a decision for Christ.

The saved person, who is not living the victory, has had his testimony compromised. And a compromised testimony is useless. To reclaim his victory, he must get his testimony back. To do this, he must:

1. Repent

If you are a true believer, and have no testimony, it is highly likely that you have backslidden. And if you have backslidden, then you have given up ground to the devil. This ground must be reclaimed for you to live a victorious Christian life, and the first step to reclaim lost ground is to repent of your sins and confess those sins to the Lord Jesus.

The Bible says, “The sacrifices of God are a broken and contrite heart” (Psalm 51:17). Healing begins when we are truly sorry for our sin. We must realize that we have sinned against a Holy God who ransomed His very life to redeem us. Our lack of faithfulness must hurt us as much as it hurts God.

The Bible says, “Godly sorrow worketh repentance” (2 Corinthians 7:10), and repentance is necessary to restore our relationship with the Lord Jesus.

“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face, then I will hear them, and heal their land.”

2. Confess

Jesus will forgive any sin, but we must confess it. There are many who believe that when Jesus died on the cross, all our sins were immediately forgiven. If this were true, however, then the Bible would be a lie: for the Bible says:

“If we confess our sins, [Jesus] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

The act of confession is important, because it not only forces us to acknowledge who we are—sinners, but it also forces us to acknowledge who Jesus Christ is—our Savior.

At this point it is important to stress that confession to Jesus is what is meant here, not confession to a sinful man.

3. Renew

After we have confessed our sins and obtained forgiveness, we must, as Jesus says in Revelation 2:5, “do the first works.” This means we must go back to square one and become again as babes in Christ. We must renew our covenant with God. We must get back into the Word of God, fast, pray, and seek to do that which is right in God’s sight. We must hate sin and avoid it at any and all costs.

4. Sanctify

We must then sanctify ourselves. Sanctification is the act of separating oneself from the world and setting oneself apart unto the Lord. This entails avoiding people and activities that glorify sin and do not glorify the Lord Jesus. And we must be careful to avoid fellowship with those who hate our God.

Important to the process of sanctification is the act of separating ourselves from those who wantonly sin.

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR TESTIMONY

There is a song by the rap group, Wu Tang Klan, entitled “Protect Ya Neck.” When I was in the world, I thought that was a cool title for a song. Though the spiritual significance of that title escaped me at that time, I realized that it was very practical advice in an increasingly violent world.

A few years after I was saved, I again reflected on that title and realized that “protect your neck” is not only sound worldly advice, but very sound spiritual advice. As Christians, we must protect our necks—we must protect our testimony.

The Bible says,

“Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

The heart is extremely important. It is the most important organ in the human body. Without it, we would die. During medieval times, knights wore a suit of armor to protect themselves from injury in battle. They would also often wear a shirt made of interwoven chain links called a coat of male. The purpose of both the suit of armor and the coat of male was to protect the knight’s vital organs from injury by sword or knife penetration. Today, police officers and soldiers alike wear a protective vest made out of Kevlar for the same purpose. The knight’s armor, the coat of male, and the protective vest all serve to protect the wearer’s vital organs, the most important of which is the heart.

The Bible says that though we walk like ordinary men, we don’t go to war like ordinary men (2 Corinthians 10:3). Our warfare is spiritual, not carnal. The heart we need to protect, then, is not our physical heart, but our spiritual heart. The Bible says that the issues of life spring from the heart. The Christian’s spiritual heart is his moral center and the place from whence his discernment springs. When we decide either to do or not to do a thing, it is from this moral center—the heart—that we decide.

Because the heart is so important to the life of the Christian, Satan will attack it every chance he gets. We must therefore make sure that at all times we have on our spiritual armor.

Satan attacks our heart through the senses, using the same lures he has used for millennia: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). In that Satan comes at us through the senses, then we have to purpose within ourselves to harden these spiritual ports of entry. Since Satan most often tempts us to sin through the eyes, then we have to be especially vigilant to control what we see. Ironically, King David provides the best advice on how to avoid being tempted through the eyes:

“I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me” (Psalm 101:3).

The best way to avoid being tempted to sin through the eyes is to avoid seeing the thing that would cause us to sin in the first place. This is especially true with sex. The so-called “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion,” a document falsely attributed to the Jews, calls for every child in the world to have seen every conceivable sex act by the time he is thirteen years old. The Hollywood Motion Picture and Television industry is without a doubt Satan’s preferred method of accomplishing this. Most of the movies and television shows that come out of Hollywood depict sex in some form: even if it’s merely innuendo.

About a year ago, for example, I was watching an episode of a television situation comedy featuring two single and financially disadvantaged women who work as waitresses. At one point in the episode, one of the costars simulates a sex act using an action figure and a stuffed animal. The whole thing lasted about 30-45 seconds, during which time the simulated sex became increasingly graphic, and at least two sexual positions were depicted. The fact that this happened on a “prime time” television show, at a time when children often watch television with their parents, demonstrates the depravity of Hollywood.

Sexual suggestion can even be seen on some children’s cartoons and television shows, especially those made by Disney. On some Disney programs, some of the children wear shockingly revealing clothing. One of the first places I saw little girls wearing dresses that stop well above the middle of the thigh was a Disney program centered on two best friends who share a passion for dance. Another Disney show, featuring a middle school for exceptional students, presented the same motif.

While one purpose of this imagery would appear to be to influence girls to dress in this fashion, it may also serve to entice adult men into pedophilia. This is not a stretch, as Disney has been on the front lines of the pedophilic agenda for decades. In fact, Disney even admitted that they made the title character from the cartoon movie, Pocahontas, “sexier” to appeal to adult fathers who may be viewing the cartoon with their children!

Knowing, therefore, that Hollywood does have an agenda, it would be best to avoid television altogether. For many of us, however, this is neither possible nor desirable. So, we owe it to ourselves as obedient Christians to at least do our level best to avoid programming that is likely to have sex in some form. This includes most reality TV shows, as the characters in some of these shows are often depicted engaging in sexual activity, albeit sometimes blurred out. The female characters in many of these programs also wear very little or very revealing clothing. And most all of these programs feature the use of explicit and/or sexually suggestive speech.

In fact, most reality TV programs in some way glorify sin. So, the Christian who views this type of programming is condoning sin.

The way to protect oneself from all sins of the flesh is to avoid situations where it is possible that one could see something that he doesn’t need to see. Christians should avoid watching television programs that contain sexually suggestive imagery and language. They should also avoid television programs such as Grey’s Anatomy, which has depicted characters engaging in sexual activity.

Pornography is arguably the most poignant example of the lust of the eyes. According to the Bible, pornography is seeing the nakedness of anyone except your spouse and your own young children. Pornography is the first sin the Bible mentions after The Flood, when Ham saw his father Noah naked in bed (Genesis 10:22). The lure of pornography is potent and practically irresistible. In fact, pornography is so powerful, that the person enthralled by it completely loses the ability to reason. And when a person loses the ability to reason, he also loses his ability to resist temptation. King David is probably the Bible’s greatest example of this.

Pornography is an abomination in God’s sight, and the person guilty of pornography will incur a generational curse. Pornography has destroyed many a Christian’s testimony.

Christians who live in countries where commercials feature pornographic imagery have to be especially vigilant. In Germany, for example, 1-900-SEXX commercials are very popular and are shown regularly after 10:00 p.m. (2200 hrs.). Some of these commercials can be disturbingly graphic. Unsupervised, a child who is allowed to watch television during these hours could be lured into the pornographic lifestyle.

Christians must also avoid places were people dress indecently or indiscreetly. For me, the beach would be such a place. Women’s bikinis today are an absolute scandal. String bikinis, once almost exclusively worn by women of ill repute, have become socially acceptable. The Bible says that the heart is “deceitful above all things and desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9). There is no way that a normal man can resist the lure of a near-naked woman—no matter how “holy” he believes himself to be. The man who considers himself immune to such temptation is setting himself up for failure. Many a pastor has seen his testimony destroyed because he underestimated the power of the flesh and the deceptiveness of sin.

Sin is, in fact, deceptive:

“But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin” (Hebrews 3:13).

Don’t be deceived!

By now, you should understand how vitally important our testimony is. You should now understand that a Christian without a testimony is hobbled in this life. A Christian without a testimony is impotent—thoroughly sprayed and neutered. If you don’t have a testimony, you must get one—today.

If you do have a testimony, then you ought to feel compelled to give it. If Jesus has done anything for you, you ought to let somebody know it. That is one reason Jesus did whatever He did for you: He wants you to tell somebody. So why don’t you? There are many ways to give your testimony. You don’t necessarily have to give it in church. You could start a blog, as I have done. You can witness to someone at your job, witness to a neighbor, or even witness to a family member. In the process, you can give your testimony. However you do it, just do it. You’ll be glad you did. So will the Lord Jesus.

A God Whom His Fathers Knew Not

Today, in the German state of Bavaria, is a public holiday, the name of which is fronleichnam, which is the German equivalent of Corpus Christi day. When I was a child, I used to see that day on the calendar all the time, but I had not idea what it meant. You may be interested to know that, besides being a city in Texas, Corpus Christi is a very important Roman Catholic holiday. But more than this, the celebration of Corpus Christi is actually a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

Corpus Christi is Latin for “body of Christ.” The website, timeanddate.com, says this about Corpus Christi:

“Corpus Christi (fronleichnam) falls on a Thursday 60 days after Easter Sunday. The day honors the Eucharist (Holy Communion, Lord’s Supper), which is important in the Catholic church. Corpus Christi is a public holiday in some parts of Germany and is marked by parades for the blessed sacrament [Eucharist] (in form of bread or wafers).”

So, according to this website, Corpus Christi is a holiday honoring the Eucharist, which is the consecrated wafer used in the Roman Catholic mass. Note that the word Eucharist is capitalized, as one would do for a deity. This is important, because, according to the Roman Catholic doctrine of the Real Presence, the Eucharist contains the actual body, blood, and divinity of Jesus Christ. This is why Roman Catholics actually worship the Eucharist as Jesus Christ, as this screenshot from a Roman Catholic website clearly demonstrates:

It should be added that this particular Catholic church calls itself a “Eucharistic Community.” It is a safe bet, therefore, that its worship activities center around the Eucharist. Though they refer to adoration as “the simple act of…spending some time with Jesus,” it must be noted that, according to this website, “Eucharistic Adoration” falls under “Liturgy.” Wikipedia defines liturgy as “the customary public worship done by a specific religious group, according to its particular traditions.” Adoration, then, is worship.

In that the Eucharist is what is being adored, it is clear that “spending time with Jesus” actually means worshipping the Eucharist. This makes total sense, if one believes that the Eucharist contains the body, blood, and divinity of Jesus Christ. For if one considers the Eucharist Jesus, then one can worship the Eucharist. In that Roman Catholics celebrate several days in the life of Jesus Christ (such as His birth, resurrection, ascension into heaven, etc.), it only makes sense that there would be a day to honor the Eucharist, since Roman Catholics consider it Jesus.

It must be noted that, according to Wikipedia, liturgical worship is “based on traditions.” That means it is not based on the Bible. Eucharistic worship, then, is not Scriptural, meaning that Jesus never ordained it. (Of course, every born-again, Bible-believing Christian already knows this.) Jesus addressed such traditions in the Bible, when He said that the Pharisees substituted their traditions for doctrine, and, in so doing, made the Word of God of none effect.

In that the Eucharist, or the wafer that Roman Catholics believe is Jesus, is not Scriptural, it would qualify as “another Jesus”:

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

“For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him” (2 Corinthians 11:3-4).

Why is this important? Because the Antichrist will worship this “Jesus.” Recall this verse from the book of Daniel concerning the Antichrist:

“In his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things” (Daniel 11:38).

If you’ve read our article, The Identity of the Antichrist, then you know that the God of forces is none other than Nimrod, the first king of ancient Babylon. The goddess of forces is Nimrod’s wife, Semiramis, whom the Roman Catholic church calls the Virgin Mary and the Bible calls the Abomination of Desolation. I believed that the phrase “a god whom his fathers knew not” also referred to the Abomination of Desolation, and I believed that when the Bible says that this god would be honored with gold, silver, and precious things, it was referring to the precious metals that adorn this idol.

But Alexander Hislop, in The Two Babylons, adds something interesting to this dialogue:

“The host, or consecrated wafer, is the great god of the Romish Church. That host is enshrined in a box adorned with gold and silver and precious stones. And thus it is manifest that ‘a god’ whom even the Pope’s pagan ‘fathers knew not,’ he at this day honors in the very way that the terms of the predication imply that he would” (Hislop, 255).

The consecrated wafer, or Eucharist, is the flat piece of bread that Roman Catholics eat and believe to be the body, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ. The box, in which the Eucharist is enshrined, is called a ciborium.

The Catholic Dictionary, defines a ciborium as

“A chalice-like vessel used to contain the Blessed Sacrament (Eucharist)… The material should be gold or silver (base metals are sometimes allowed), but the interior of the cup must be always lined with gold… While containing the Sacred Species it should be covered with small white veil of silk or cloth of gold. In Eastern Churches…the Blessed Sacrament is reserved in gold or silver boxes covered with silk and suspended from the altar-canopy in accordance with ancient custom.” (Parentheses mine).

This above photo of the ciborium (at left) accompanied by a chalice and other instruments, perfectly describes how the god whom the Antichrist’s fathers knew not would be honored with “gold and silver and precious stones.” For it is adorned with “Genuine jade, mother of pearl and rhodocrosite stones.” It sells for $4800.

Moreover, the monstrance, a sunburst usually made of gold, and used to house the Eucharist for “adoration” (worship), solemn processions, and other occasions, is also made of gold and silver, and adorned with precious stones, as one can see from the image below:

So the Roman Catholic church has ordained a special day in which they honor a piece of bread, which Roman Catholics believe is really Jesus. In so doing, they blaspheme the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Corpus Christi Day, or fronleichnam, the celebration of the Eucharist, the Roman Catholic church honors “another Jesus” (2 Corinthians 11:4), a god whom the Antichrist’s fathers knew not. This is a literal fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

In that the Eucharist, or the wafer that Roman Catholics believe is Jesus, is not Scriptural, it would qualify as “another Jesus”:

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

“For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him” (2 Corinthians 11:3-4).

Why is this important? Because the Antichrist will worship this “Jesus.” Recall this verse from the book of Daniel concerning the Antichrist:

“In his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things” (Daniel 11:38).

If you’ve read our article, The Identity of the Antichrist, then you know that the God of forces is none other than Nimrod, the first king of ancient Babylon. The goddess of forces is Nimrod’s wife, Semiramis, whom the Roman Catholic church calls the Virgin Mary and the Bible calls the Abomination of Desolation. I believed that the phrase “a god whom his fathers knew not” also referred to the Abomination of Desolation, and I believed that when the Bible says that this god would be honored with gold, silver, and precious things, it was referring to the precious metals that adorn this idol.

But Alexander Hislop, in The Two Babylons, adds something interesting to this dialogue:

“The host, or consecrated wafer, is the great god of the Romish Church. That host is enshrined in a box adorned with gold and silver and precious stones. And thus it is manifest that ‘a god’ whom even the Pope’s pagan ‘fathers knew not,’ he at this day honors in the very way that the terms of the predication imply that he would” (Hislop, 255).

The consecrated wafer, or Eucharist, is the flat piece of bread that Roman Catholics eat and believe to be the body, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ. The box, in which the Eucharist is enshrined, is called a ciborium.

The Catholic Dictionary, defines a ciborium as

“A chalice-like vessel used to contain the Blessed Sacrament (Eucharist)… The material should be gold or silver (base metals are sometimes allowed), but the interior of the cup must be always lined with gold… While containing the Sacred Species it should be covered with small white veil of silk or cloth of gold. In Eastern Churches…the Blessed Sacrament is reserved in gold or silver boxes covered with silk and suspended from the altar-canopy in accordance with ancient custom.” (Parentheses mine).

This above photo of the ciborium (at left) accompanied by a chalice and other instruments, perfectly describes how the god whom the Antichrist’s fathers knew not would be honored with “gold and silver and precious stones.” For it is adorned with “Genuine jade, mother of pearl and rhodocrosite stones.” It sells for $4800.

Moreover, the monstrance, a sunburst usually made of gold, and used to house the Eucharist for “adoration” (worship), solemn processions, and other occasions, is also made of gold and silver, and adorned with precious stones, as one can see from the image below:

So the Roman Catholic church has ordained a special day in which they honor a piece of bread, which Roman Catholics believe is really Jesus. In so doing, they blaspheme the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Corpus Christi Day, or fronleichnam, the celebration of the Eucharist, the Roman Catholic church honors “another Jesus” (2 Corinthians 11:4), a god whom the Antichrist’s fathers knew not. This is a literal fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Another Jesus, Another Spirit, Another Gospel

A very strange thing happened to me this weekend while visiting my in-laws.
This weekend, my family and I went to visit my wife’s cousin, a pastor, in a small Bavarian village here in Germany, who has been brow-beating us for years for not coming to see him more. Well, we finally made it to his house, and, I must say, I enjoyed the visit very, very much.

My cousin-in-law is a most garrulous and big-hearted man, and he really has a heart for people and hospitality. I have never eaten so well in all my life! My wife’s family is from Angola/Congo, and both the Angolan and the Congolese are known for their hospitality (though I would have to give the slightest edge to the Congolese).

About an hour after my family and I arrived, my wife’s cousin received a visit from a member of his church. The man, let’s call him Pietro, said that he had been saved for about four years, and credits my wife’s cousin for leading him to Jesus. Well, about ten minutes after he arrived, he begins to talk about how, back in March, he had led my father-in-law to accept Jesus as his Savior, when my father-in-law was then visiting us from Angola. I thought this very strange, because my father-in-law is a proud Roman Catholic, and each time I attempted to convince him that as a Roman Catholic he is on a collision course with the Lake of Fire, he rejected the notion immediately.

Now don’t misunderstand me. I’m not implying that it was impossible for this man to do what I could not. What I am saying is that Pietro claimed to have merely given my father-in-law the Gospel, and that he accepted it outright. Now, perhaps such a thing is possible if the Roman Catholic has, at some point earlier, heard the Gospel and has been under conviction since that time. But experience has taught me that because the Roman Catholic thinks he is already a Christian, he will reject any argument that his religion is not the path to Salvation, and will, in all likelihood, reject anyone who gives him the Gospel message, because he thinks he is already saved. That Pietro did not, in fact, lead my father-in-law to Christ, is borne out by the fact that my father-in-law’s account of their meeting, which my wife recounted to me about an hour ago, was quite different from Pietro’s. If my wife’s version is accurate, then my father-in-law found Pietro’s efforts merely amusing, to put it charitably.

So, here I was listening to this man telling me how God “downloaded” (his words exactly) all this information about my father-in-law to him and how he used this information to bring my father-in-law to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, when suddenly Pietro exclaimed, “I feel like preaching.” “Then, preach on!” I responded. And this, he proceeded to do.

As he rambled, it was clear that Pietro thought himself a prophet of God, and he inevitably told me that God had a word for me. Take note of what this “prophet” told me. He told me that, though he could see I was saved, it was not enough to just be saved: I had to “do something” with the gift that God had given me. I merely listened, saying nothing about my ministry and evangelization activities. He then invited me to pray with him that God would use me in a way that he never has before. Because prayer is a good thing, I consented, but not before praying silently to myself for the Lord to protect me from any demonic activity. Joining us in prayer was my cousin-in-law, and before long, the two men were on their knees in the center of the living room. I had been seated across from them on the sofa, and I soon rose and got on my knees in front of the sofa. The only other two people in the room were Pietro’s wife and another lady from their church congregation, the latter seated on a love seat to the right of me and the former seated to my left on another chair.

The tempo of the prayer began to pick up, and Pietro was working himself into a frenzy, his voice rising almost to a shout, when suddenly my cousin-in-law starts to pray in what many believe to be tongues. Now, at this, I became someone agitated. I am violently allergic to tongues, which do not edify anyone but the utterer, because they cannot be interpreted. And I start to wonder why I had consented to this foolishness in the first place. I nevertheless played along, hoping that at some point, it would end, and I could eat at last, as my wife had just brought me a hot plate of food, which was supposed to have been taken as a polite cue to end the madness, but, instead, was totally ignored.

About ten minutes into his fiery oration, I start to notice that Pietro is using some alarming terminology in his prayer. He starts saying things like breaking strongholds, delivering from bondage, “Free him,” “Loose him,” and things of that nature. It was then that I realized that this was some sort of deliverance session. This man was trying to cast a demon from me!

When I realized what was going on, I rose to my feet, only to find that Pietro had already risen to his. So, while my eyes were closed and I was on my knees, Pietro had risen to his feet and was, effectively, praying over me. I started for the door, but, unsure of my cousin-in-law’s role in this, and not wanting to offend him, I turned back and decided to, in as charitable a manner as I could muster, reject the spirit of this prayer. And I do this, praying aloud to the Lord Jesus, and reaffirming Him as Lord, and rejecting any notion that I need deliverance from any thing, and rebuking the spirit that had taken over the proceedings. As I spoke, according to my wife, who had remained at the rear of the room after bringing me the plate of food, both my cousin-in-law and Pietro fell completely silent, except for an occasional “Amen.” Satan bowed the knee to Jesus.

When he had regained his composure, Pietro ended the prayer, and immediately denied that he was trying to cast out any demon from me, saying that he was merely praying for me to be filled with the Spirit. Because I didn’t want to argue with him, and because I was hungry, I didn’t argue with him, but noted in my spirit that this is not what he said we were praying for. He merely had to ask that I be filled with the Spirit, if that is what he really wanted to do, avoiding a long, tedious, and pointless dissertation. What this man did not know, was that I was filled with the Spirit when I rejected his activity, and that it was the Spirit, respecting my host, that kept me from rebuking this man more severely than I did, because I certainly wanted to.

Visibly slightly perturbed by what had just transpired, Pietro tells me that God’s word to me was that I need to humble myself more. Because humility is a good thing, I received his words cheerfully, and that was that.

Now, after dinner, he continued to talk, and even to sing. I tolerated the singing because I don’t know that many songs and I could always stand to learn a few more. I even sang along with him. But after about 45 minutes, it was clear that my wife was completely sick of him. Later, his wife and my cousin-in-law made up some little fliers inviting people to his church, which they said they wanted to pass out at a small volksfest (block party) that was going on in town that night. My wife suggested that I bring some gospel tracts to distribute at the fest. I just happened to have a number of gospel tracts in my pocket which I had brought for just such an occasion as this, so off we went to the fest.

The fest was teaming with people when we got there, and I wasted no time passing out tracts to people. Following my lead, my cousin-in-law started to pass out his invitations. About ten minutes later, he asks if he can have some tracts, and I give him some, noticing that he placed an invitation inside each tract he handed out. Later, I told him that I could send him some tracts if he wants, and he refuses, saying that he doesn’t even know what they are all about. I wondered, therefore, why he would place an invitation for his church inside a gospel tract not knowing the message they contain.

Then I remembered that about two years ago, a man in my wife’s church invited me to go “evangelizing” with him. I was soon to find out that the man’s idea of evangelizing was, as was my cousin-in-law’s, passing out invitations to come to his church. Not two weeks after this event, the man left the church, and has never returned. It is said that he joined another church, because his former church offered him no opportunity for advancement. But my spirit tells me that he was told to leave that church, because he had accomplished there the mission for which he was sent.

I believe what is happening here is that Satan is trying to get me to endorse one of his false churches, by somehow associating that church with my evangelization ministry. Another proof of this is that my wife’s uncle, who is a pastor of a small congregation in Belgium, has asked me on at least two occasions to what church I send people after evangelizing them. Each time I have told him that it is not my job to endorse any church, as what church a person attends is largely up to him and the Holy Spirit. My job is to preach the gospel, not endorse churches. Ironically, he once asked me to send him some tracts, but, tragically, I was to find out that instead of passing them out, he used them as a Bible study tool, asking his congregants to look up the Bible verses and commit them to memory.

Back to my cousin-in-law. The next day, which was this past Sunday, my family and I visited my cousin-in-law’s church, and as soon as I entered the sanctuary, I noticed the following very disturbing object on the wall:

Friends, that is a dead jesus on that wall. And a dead jesus is an emblem of the Roman Catholic church. What is missing is the cross, which would make this object a crucifix, making it painfully clear what spirit is actually moving in this church congregation. With or without the cross, however, a dead jesus is an abomination in the eyes of God, because those who crucify Jesus again and again by leaving Him on the cross, “crucify the son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame” (Hebrews 6:6).

I will tell you right now, that no church that has a dead Jesus hanging on the wall has any power, nor any victory, for the Holy Spirit will not step foot into that church. I don’t care how much noise they make, how much they clap, how much they hoop and holler, and how many times they say the name of Jesus. If Jesus is dead in your church, then Jesus is dead in your heart.

And the church service proved it. I looked intently into the faces of many, and it was obvious that they were just going through the motions, especially the young ones.

And there was something else. If you look at the second photo above, in the foreground, you will see a young German woman holding a baby. That is the wife of the man I’ve been talking about. Now, if you are a man, examine this photo closely and try to imagine if this lady were standing in the row in front of you, while you were sitting down. Honestly ask yourself if you would not be at least the slightest bit distracted. If you are a woman, ask yourself if you would want this woman standing in front of your husband dressed this way. In case you cannot imagine this, bookmark this page, because she directed the children’s choir and stood in front of the entire congregation with her back towards the viewer. I taped the choir, because my cousin-in-law’s two daughters sang also. On the closeups, I had to go to great lengths not to capture any “colorful” footage, but on the zoom out, it is still evident.

There were at least two other women in the congregation who wore similarly tight pants and the effect was the same. When I pointed this out to my wife, her response was that a saved man has no business looking. I told her that a preacher was a man before he got saved, and doesn’t stop being a man because he is saved. Many preachers have had their testimony destroyed because of some woman in the congregation. And oftentimes it started with a look that was precipitated by some tight worldly pants that have no place in the house of God.

My wife used to dress like this in church also, and when I would tell her she should not dress this way, she would get angry and say that I was old fashioned. Eventually, I just stopped going to church with her. Occasionally she will still dress this way, but she will wear a long shirt or a shawl that drapes down over her backside.

One more thing: at the close of the church service, a man got up and sang a song. As he held up his hand, I could not help but notice that his fingers formed the familiar Cult of Mary hand sign.

It is possible that it was unintentional, but under the circumstances, it may very well not have been. So at the end of the day, Rome was at the bottom of the whole thing, as if I didn’t already know that.

I’m not going to say what I believe all this means. If you are of any discernment, you already know. One thing’s for sure: Satan is a liar.

Persecution and Soul Ties

While writing this, the Spirit took over, meaning there is someone for whom the result is intended. If, therefore, I seem to have diverged somewhat, from the original sense, forgive me.

I have returned from my trip to St. Louis, completing my relocation to Germany. As many of you know, I am somewhat of a reluctant missionary to Germany. Why wife, who is from Congo/Angola, and I have been married for fifteen years, but we have never lived in America as a family. My wife simply does not want to live in America. Fortunately, this has resulted in the furtherance of the Gospel here in Munich, which is doubtless the way God had intended (Read Romans 8:28).

This ministry was started under similar circumstances. My original intent for starting this blog was to relate my experiences of being persecuted by gang stalking/mind control activities which I ultimately attribute to the Roman Catholic church. My Roman Catholic and Muslim neighbors, both in St. Louis and here in Munich, were and have been active participants in that persecution. Victims of this kind of persecution are under surveillance 24 hours a day, which means that your daily routine is basically a matter of public record, and any plans you make are known by others well in advance of their execution.

So it was with my arrival in St. Louis and my plans to relocate permanently to Munich. Though the entire neighborhood was involved in my harassment in St. Louis, there were three men, who went to extraordinary steps to let me know it. I won’t go into the specifics, because it is frankly very sad how Satan has destroyed these men.

You must understand that many of the people that have been contracted to harass me and others like me have ceded complete control of their will and morality to these people. In other words, they are merely puppets–marionettes, if you will–who can be moved any which way at the will of the puppetmaster. Most, if not all, of these people have been destroyed emotionally, psychologically, in many cases financially, and morally, which means spiritually, and a destroyed person is very easy to manipulate.

I have seen grown men behave in ways that would disgrace any sane, sober, mature individual. These men, unfortunately, have had their moral centers compromised, and are, thus, merely clay in the hands of an evil potter. They will do what they are told to do, when they are told to do it, and precisely in the manner they are told to do it. Believe that. I can therefore testify along with Charles Chiniquy, Dr. Alberto Rivera, and others to the fact that there are many Roman Catholics and Muslims who will do literally anything their leaders command them to do. This is the plain truth.

So, here I am, packing my things and cleaning the house, when my doorbell rings. When I open it, there stands one of the three with the most innocent and saintly of countenances. I mean, if the two of us were standing next to a broken storefront window and he had a brick in his hand, I would be the one going to jail. So, I ask him what he wants, and he asks me if he could use my garage, “because I have two cars.” Can you imagine?

Now, this man had actually avoided a personal meeting with me for six years, but, upon learning that I would be leaving permanently, he could not help himself. He simply had to invent some reason to come to my home, and there was no better reason he could come up with, because there was actually no good reason for him to do so.

Now, to show you how Satan works, at one point, there was a woman, an enemy, masquerading as a sister in Christ, with whom I spoke and corresponded when this ministry was in its infancy. This woman would frequently mention a next-door neighbor who, she said, would act very strangely, and who she claimed was harassing her. Now, I knew in my spirit that the purpose for her doing this was to get me to focus on this neighbor who came to my house, for he was the most active of the three. But, because I didn’t want her to suspect that I was onto her, I didn’t let her know this. What I did was tell her the truth. And that truth was that Satan uses a person for one purpose, unbeknownst to him, while actually harboring a secret agenda that is intended to destroy both he and the other person.

You see, while the woman wanted me to focus on the neighbor for one reason, Satan had something else in mind. Satan actually wanted me to focus on my neighbor for the purpose of creating a soul tie. A soul tie is a spiritual connection between two people that is only rivaled by the spiritual connection between a man and a woman in holy matrimony and that spiritual connection that exists between a man and God Almighty through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, there are good soul ties and there are bad soul ties. The soul tie created by the sexual union of a man and a woman outside of marriage is a bad soul tie, a devastating soul tie. Jesus told us that a man and a woman who come together become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). If that coming together is within the sanctity of marriage, then that union is holy, because God has ordained marriage. But if that union is not within the context of marriage, then the flesh that the man and the woman become is defiled. They have become a whore (1 Corinthians 6:16).

When a man and a woman have sex, there is an exchange of things: physical things, biological things, chemical things, and emotional things, among them. This we know. What most of us don’t know and appreciate, however, is that there is also an exchange of SPIRITUAL THINGS. Now, there are two types of spiritual things: the divine and the demonic. Divine things are ordained of God, while demonic things are ordained by Satan and condemned by God. Marriage is ordained by God, therefore if a married couple has sex, then the spiritual exchange is divine. Fornication, however: that is, sex outside of marriage, is condemned by God. Therefore, if an unmarried couple has sex, then the spiritual things they are exchanging are not ordained by God. Their spiritual exchange is, therefore, by definition, DEMONIC.

Have you ever noticed that even after a person is no longer with another with whom he or she has carried on a long term sexual relationship, the person will retain certain characteristics of the other person? He will often say certain things the other person said, like certain things the other person liked, and behave somewhat like the other person. We normally think that this happens because they were together for awhile. We think it is natural. But, if this were the case, then why don’t we talk and act like our teachers? Throughout our lives we spend more time, on average, with our teachers than we spend with anyone else, including our parents. Yet, the vast majority of us don’t retain any of our teachers’ characteristics. Why? It is because we have not established a spiritual connection with our teachers. There is no soul tie.

There are also good soul ties. The soul tie between very good friends, for instance, is a good soul tie. The Bible speaks of the friend you love “as much as your own soul” (Deuteronomy 13:6). The Bible also teaches that when David first met Jonathan, the son of King Saul, that “the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul” (1 Samuel 18:1). The spiritual connection established by a married man and woman is also a healthy, in fact, holy soul tie, because God Himself is in the middle.

There is yet another type of harmful soul tie, and that is one that is created when a person becomes obsessed with another person. An example of this can be found again in 1 Samuel 18, where we find that King Saul had become so obsessed with David, that at times he could think of nothing else but killing him. His obsession with David eventually led King Saul to pursue the young man for years.

Soul ties of this nature can cause a person to become a voyeur or peeping-Tom, or, worse, a stalker. In just about every detective movie I have seen where the detective had to conduct extensive surveillance on someone, it was inevitable that he would become obsessed with his subject. People who have indulged in this kind of behavior have become obsessed to the point of doing something reprehensible, like stalking, rape, and even murder.

This actually happens. Last night, I read the testimony of a Christian pastor who Jesus delivered from homosexuality. The man testified of having been raped by a man who had a homosexual obsession with his father, who was also a pastor. He said that the man raped him, because he knew he couldn’t have his father and was jealous of his mother.

Things like this happen because obsessive soul ties are caused by demonic activity. We read in 1 Samuel 18 that Saul’s deadly obsession with David was actually caused by an evil spirit (v. 10). With time, the unnatural affinity of spying morphs into an obsession. The Bible teaches that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8). The person who obsesses over another will over time lose his grip with reality and will eventually become mentally unstable. And an unstable person cannot discern between good and evil.

Moreover, the person, who engages in spying will begin to despise his own existence. Jesus said:

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other” (Matthew 6:24).

The person who spies on another will almost certainly come to hate his own life. Proof of this is a comment one of my neighbors, who has been spying on my family for more than a decade and whom my wife actually caught spying on her, made some years ago:

“You are in shape, I am in shape, your wife is in shape, but my wife? Yuk!”

Translation: “You have a beautiful wife and I have an ugly wife.”

Now what self-respecting man would make such a comment about his own wife? After all, he married her, so what does that say about him?

Indeed, the person who spies on another will come to hate his own life, and, with it, his wife, his children, his house, his job, and, eventually himself. Why? Well, for one, the grass is always greener on the other side, they say. But more than this, it is because the person obsessed with another will inevitably begin to covet what that person has: be it his wife, his car, his house, his kids, or whatever. Satan will make sure of it. This is because, besides the Tenth Commandment prohibition against coveting, Colossians 3:5 teaches that covetousness is idolatry, and idolatry will earn you a generational curse (Exodus 20:3-5, 34-7). When you are under a curse, you are living in sin. When you are living in sin, you are a slave to sin. And when you are a slave to sin, Satan is your master.

The obsessed person, then, who begins to covet, commits idolatry and is hit with a double-wammy: he has become the enemy of God and a pawn of the devil.

When you spy on a person, you develop an obsessive soul tie with that person. And Satan will use that soul tie to destroy you. Remember that Jesus said Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). So, if Satan is in your life, you can bet that it is for that purpose. By creating a soul tie with another, a person invites Satan into his life, and through that soul tie, Satan 1. steals that person’s joy and his discernment, 2. kills his satisfaction with his own life, 3. ultimately destroys that person’s soul in Hell. So the peeping Tom is miserable in this life and in the next. What a pity!

So, to return to my neighbor in St. Louis, knowing what Satan was up to, I completely ignored him, no matter what he did, though, for years, he went to great lengths to become the object of my attention. And I do the same here in Munich. Several individuals have taken their turn trying to get me to focus on them and their actions. But, instead, I keep my eyes on Jesus. Rather than take their actions personally, I just pray for my neighbors.

And that’s the key. We must pray for our enemies, not become obsessed with them. We are to resist the temptation to wish harm on them or to expend mental energy on them reciprocating their hatred towards us. Jesus told us that we are to love our enemies and to bless those who hate us and to do good to those who spitefully use us. That includes our persecutors. The Bible teaches that we are not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices, and one of his most successful devices is to get men to hate each other and forget all about him. We must remember that we, as Christians, “wrestle not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:11). Our neighbor is not our enemy, even if we are his. Satan is our enemy, and we are to resist him with all of our being. In so doing, we avoid becoming obsessed with a neighbor, and, consequently, Satan cannot create a dangerous soul tie between us and that person.

Satan can and will, however, use a neighbor’s obsession with us to bring him further under bondage, which is an even greater incentive to pray for him.

I love my wife and family, and I love the life I live in Christ Jesus. Even with everything that has happened to me and will happen, I wouldn’t trade my life with anyone, though I might consider trading with Jay-Z for a day…

On second thought, maybe not.
