What Will Be The Number of the Beast?
Grace and peace to my fellow kings and priests, and greetings to the children of wrath.
Many of you know that we believe whole-heartedly that Pope Benedict XVI is the Antichrist, Pope Francis is the False Prophet, and the idol, known as the Virgin Mary, is the Abomination of Desolation. We also believe that the Mark of the Beast will be the emblem of the Papacy. What we have yet to determine, however, is what the Number of the Beast will be.
As you may know, we believe the Mark of the Beast and the Number of the Beast are not the same, though they have several things in common. One thing that they have in common is that each will be one of three forms of commerce:
“[N]o man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:17).
Another thing that the Mark of the Beast and the Number of the Beast have in common is that both are related to his name. Compare this excerpt from the above passage:
“[N]o man might buy or sell, save he that had…the number of his name.”
With this passage:
“[A]nd they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name” (Revelation 14:11).
Because the Mark of the Beast is the mark of the Antichrist’s name, we believe it will be the so-called Keys of Saint Peter, as these gold and silver keys are featured on the seal of the Papacy and on Benedict XVI’s coat of arms:
It is important at this point to dispel the myth that the number of the Beast is 666. Scripture does not tell us that the Antichrist’s number is 666, but that his number is six hundred sixty six:
“Here is wisdom, let he that hath understanding count the number of the Beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
Revelation 13:8 (KJV)
Why has much of the world, including most of the Body of Christ, been deceived into believing that the number of the Beast is 666? Why, because of the satanic New International Version of the Bible (NIV), of course:
“This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666″ (NIV).
Revelation 13:8 (NIV)
Crucial to a proper understanding of the number of the Beast is that Scripture says that we must “count” the number, and, in so doing, the number yields six hundred sixty six. Oxford Dictionary of English defines the word count as “to determine the total number of,” while Strong’s C0ncordance says that count, in Revelation 13:18, is a Greek word that means “to use pebbles in enumeration, i.e. calculate.” Oxford further defines counting as “to recite numbers in ascending order.” Collectively, these definitions seem to imply addition.
If we apply this to the number of the Beast, it would seem to suggest that this number must be of a nature that, when counted in ascending or descending order, it will yield six hundred sixty six. Consider also that this is no arbitrary number, as it is associated with the Antichrist’s name. This would mean that the number of the Antichrist is associated with his title.
So, imagine my surprise when I happened upon the following on page 245 of the math textbook, Thinking Mathematically, Fifth Edition, by Robert Blitzer:
Notice that the author points out lastly that all the Roman numerals from 500 to 1 in descending order form the number, 666. The last three numbers, X, V, I, collectively form the Roman number XVI or sixteen. Is it merely a coincidence that Joseph Ratzinger, as the sovereign head of Vatican City, is also a Roman, and XVI just happens to be a part of his pontifical title, Benedict XVI? Is it also merely a coincidence that the Roman numerals DCLXVI also add up to six hundred sixty six?
But there is something else very important about the number of the Beast that we must consider. Notice that in Revelation 13:18 (KJV), “Six hundred threescore and six” is capitalized. Besides when referring to God or an attribute of God, the Bible uses capitalization in proper names and in quotations.
“Six hundred threescore and six” is not a proper name, but a number. That it is capitalized, therefore, means it is a quotation. The Bible not only quotes itself, but other books as well. The Bible even quotes popular sayings:
“Wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod, the mighty hunter before the Lord.”
Genesis 10:9
While it is possible “Six hundred threescore and six” may have been taken from an extra-biblical source, there are actually two other places in the Bible where this number can be found: 1 Kings 10:14 and 2 Chronicles 9:13. Interestingly, both verses reference the same person and the same event:
“Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold.”
1 Kings 10:14
“Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold.”
2 Chronicles 9:13
It is very interesting that both references to this number concern the same man, King Solomon, the son of King David: interesting, because King Solomon turned away from God and worshipped a goddess:
“For Solomon went after Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Zidonians.”
1 Kings 11:5
When Solomon began to worship the goddess, all Israel did likewise (1 Kings 11:33). Ashtoreth was another name for Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod and the first queen of ancient Babylon. Semiramis went by many other names. In the Bible, she is called the Virgin and the Lady (Isaiah 47:1-5). Amos 5:26 and Acts 7:43 tell us that the apostate Jews worshipped this goddess with a star. And they still do.
Pope Benedict XVI and the Roman Catholic church worship Semiramis. Only they don’t call her Ashtoreth. They call her Mary, the Goddess of the Sea. And, as in the Bible, Roman Catholics call Mary The Virgin and The Lady. Roman Catholics, as did Solomon and the apostate Jews, symbolize this goddess with stars. Would you like to know more?
So, is the number of the Beast, besides being the number of his name, also intended to identify the Antichrist as a goddess worshipper and an apostate Jew of the lineage of King Solomon? This is entirely possible, as King Solomon “loved many strange women.” This is an important question, especially when you consider that the Antichrist will claim to be from the House of David.
He will also claim to be of the lineage of Jesus Christ. He would have to, for the Jews to allow him to take the throne of David, where he will “show himself to be God.” And they will do this very thing.
Saints, I’m just giving you food for thought. And think is exactly what we must do. Forget about 666. The Devil is trying to lead us down the rabbit hole of Confusion. (I capitalized that for a reason).
I’m already convinced that Benedict XVI is the Antichrist, and I give plenty of biblical evidence to support this belief. So, I don’t need anymore convincing. However, there are others who do: many of them Roman Catholics.
Help me out, Saints. Together, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can unravel this Mystery. Help me figure out what significance, if any, the Roman numerals DCLXVI have with Benedict XVI. If there is no significance, perhaps what we now now about the number of the Beast is all Jesus wanted us to know.
Be encouraged and look up, for your redemption draweth nigh.
